Tarksone is a general-purpose heavy duty cleaning and degreasing solvent. This unique patent pending solvent is very effective in applications where acetone is the solvent of choice.. Tarksone is based on a novel blend of patented Tarksol 97, a biomass alcohol and Acetone. Tarksone does not contain any chlorinated or chlorofluorocarbon solvents which contribute to ozone depletion, environmental damage, or human concerns. Effective Tarksone utilizes a carefully rapid evaporation rate to clean and quickly dry any parts normally cleaned with acetone. without re-deposition. Clean Tarksone will not leave a residue on ultimate evaporation. Ideal for use in all engineering applications, especially as a  clean-up solvent or any application where acetone is the preferred solvent of choice, without the low flash point. Tarksone is an excellent replacement in formulated products where acetone is used. Tarksone offers all the benefits and properties of acetone, without the extremely low flash point. 83% of Tarksone is VOC exempt under Federal Regulations. 17% is non-VOC, due to vapor pressure<1.0 (under most State Regulations)
